“The Best Of 2Pac” To Be Released On Two-Part Vinyl For The First Time
Tupac Shakur estate announced on Thursday (January 14, 2021), via the late rapper’s official Instagram page that the 2007 “The Best Of 2Pac” is now released for the first time ever on a two-part vinyl.
Since his death in 1996, Tupac has become a hip-hop icon, and the love he got from the fans led to the release of 8 official posthumous albums and plenty of compilations.
“The Best Of 2Pac” comes in two parts titled “Part 1:Thug” and “Part 2: Life” and as of now, it’s available on CD, digital edition on all popular streaming platforms, and Vinyl via Interscope and Amaru Entertainment.

Consisting of 22 tracks (11 tracks on each side), both sides of the project provide to the fans some of the masterpieces created by the legendary rapper from 1991 to 1996 including anthems such as “California Love”, “Changes”, and “Brenda’s Got A Baby” among other classics.
“The Best Of 2Pac” vinyl also includes original versions and remixes of some of the tracks that weren’t featured in the official release in 2007. Part 1 features tracks Pac recorded while he was still alive, while in Part 2 fans can rejoice at some of the posthumous releases of the late rapper.
The Instagram post also provides a link for the fans where they can buy the vinyl, as well as the “Me Against The World” Vinyl and plenty of “Thug Life” merch articles.
The price of each vinyl of the two-part project is $26.98.
The 2021 edition of the project makes history as the tracks “Resist The Temptation” and “Dopefiend’s Diner” appears for the first time ever on vinyl as well. The project also includes the posthumous version of “Dear Mama” featuring Anthony Hamilton.
