B.I.G.’s Mom and Faith Evans Angry at a New Documentary Airing on Lifetime

Faith Evans is more than upset after Lifetime duped her to star in an episode in the newly aired series “Hopelessly in Love”. She claims that the storyline of the documentary is changed and in reality, at the beginning, the story was not a positive one at all.

The documentary tells us about Evan’s life with the famous Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. The episode depicts Evans as a woman ready to accept all the pain that comes in her way. Moreover, it includes the couple’s intimate moments, such as their engagement and affairs.

The trailer for the episode describes the relationship between Faith Evans and B.I.G. as “the most controversial in the history of hip-hop.”

What bothers Faith Evans is that the focus of the story was shifted and it was no longer a love story, but a documentary about rivals, cheating, and death- things that have long been in the past.

“I feel upset that I’m attached to it. I was told that it would be a positive piece with a little more of my personal background. It wasn’t pitched to me as a story rehashing the sensationalized events that took place,” she said. “I am beyond that and have no need to open old wounds, damage repaired relationships and, above all, soil the legacy of Christopher Wallace a k a the Notorious B.I.G.,” Evans told The New York Post.

“The Tupac stuff, the different women — how many times are people going to talk about that? It was supposed to be a love story, and it turns into cheating and [Lil’] Kim. We’ve come so far past that. [Lifetime’s] all about drama,” Evans said.

Another person pissed by the documentary is B.I.G’s mother Voletta Wallace who claims that she was shocked by Lifetime’s decision to present the story in such way.

The episode of the Lifetime TV show describes the couple’s relationship as “the most controversial in the history of hip-hop” airs on January 10^th, and we just cannot wait so see it!
