Biggie Stopped The Lox From Releasing Tupac Diss Songs

Sheek Louch, member of the Hip Hop trio The Lox, reveals they were ready to jump into the East vs West beef and had diss songs aimed at Tupac.

“We was brand new. We was just getting there. Like we was hot in the streets as these guys and all over these Clue mixtapes,” Sheek Louch tells DJ Vlad.

It was 1996 and The Lox had signed with Bad Boy Records, three hungry rappers from Yonkers look to prove themselves. Already making a name for themselves on the mixtape scene and appearing on DJ Clue’s 1996 Show Me The Money mixtape. But, now with their new home and ready for the “big leagues”, The Lox was ready to rep their label.
