Life's So Hard - Hard On a Nigga - 2Pac (1994)
Date: August 08, 1994
Producer: Dat Nigga Daz
Studio: Can-Am Studios, Tarzana, California
"Hard on a Nigga" (released as "Life's so Hard"), recorded on August 8, 1994, produced by Daz Dillinger and featuring background vocals by Snoop Doggy Dogg and Daz Dillinger, is a re-recording of a song Tupac originally recorded in February 1994 for a Led Zeppelin compilation, produced by Stretch. It also has an additional 4th verse compared to the original 3-verse recording. It is unknown who engineered the original recording session.
There is a Slave reel dated August 23, 1994. It is unknown if Tupac added any elements to the song on that day.
The song was supposedly originally intended for the Murder Was the Case soundtrack. But eventually Tupac repurposed it for his Fuck the World/Me Against the World album which changed direction around the time Tupac was shot and the song was dropped. It was rediscovered and remixed by Daz in 1997. That version was released on the Gang Related soundtrack. The remix recording session was engineered by Tommy D and Michael Geiser.

According to Daz Dillinger's interview with VladTV, Tupac was paid $30.000 for the song.
